Each year we aim to donate a proportion of our turnover to worthwhile causes. We are now in the process of requesting nominations for our Charity of the Month scheme for 2011. For a period of two months running concurrently from 1st January 2011, we hold a number of events at which some or all of the proceeds are donated to formerly registered charities and other worthwhile causes at home and overseas. Suggested recipients for the year ahead so far include:
Acorns Children’s Hospice in Birmingham;
Apley Hospice in Telford
And
A textile workers co-operative in Kashmir, India.

Final decisions as to who we are able to support in the year ahead will be made by Maureen Ball, Director and all causes will be advised of our decision no later than 31st January 2011. |
