It is recommended that everyone has a basic knowledge of First Aid. For practitioners of natural therapies, most organisations now recommend having a qualification, and some insist on it for membership.
This one day training day will cover the basics of first aid, including how to carry out the recovery position, C.P.R. (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation), how to deal with patients who are in shock, bleeding, choking, safety aspects, and more.
The training is carried out by Members of the Athena In House teaching team.
The training day is open to all.
A certificate in “Emergency First Aid” which is valid for 3 years, will be issued on completion of the day. Also includes a resusi aid to take away.
Cost: £75.00 (£63.83 +VAT) for the day. This includes tuition, refreshments, a manual and a certificate.
