A one day workshop filled with basic energy techniques for busy practitioners
As professional practitioners of massage, reflexology and many other therapies, we are in constant contact with a wide variety of clients. Unless we become aware of the potential pitfalls of working in such an environment, we can easily find ourselves becoming exhausted and even experiencing some of our clients' symptoms.
When we work on the physical body of another person we are also working with their mental and emotional energies. This means that we are using our own physical, mental and emotional "bodies" without always being aware of what this means for us and the impact on our own energies. It is therefore vitally important for us to learn how to protect ourselves. We need to learn, for example,the simple process of connecting and disconnecting from each client, as well as how to clear ourselves and our working space at the end of each therapy session.
This one day workshop will be spent looking at how to achieve all of this quickly and easily and will include a variety of simple but highly effective techniques to:
- centre, ground and focus our own energies before and after each treatment;
- space clear our practice area;
- protect ourselves and our clients energetically;
- and much more
