It is recommended that everyone has a basic knowledge of First Aid. For practitioners of natural therapies, most organisations now recommend having a qualification, and some insist on it for membership.
This one day training day will cover the basics of first aid, including how to carry out the recovery position, C.P.R. (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation), how to deal with patients who are in shock, bleeding, choking, safety aspects, and more.
The training day is open to all.
A certificate in “Emergency First Aid” which is valid for 3 years, will be issued on completion of the day.
Tutor: A highly experienced paramedic and first aid trainer
Cost: £50.00 for the day. This includes tuition, refreshments, a manual and a certificate.
