The ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Stone Therapy will provide the student with practical and theoretical sessions to enable them to provide a Stone Therapy Massage.
The main aim of the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Stone Therapy Massage is to enable
candidates to provide treatments for the purposes of relaxation and stress release.
Aims and Objectives

- The History and concept of Stone Therapy
- The Use of Chakras
- The link between Aura and Stone Therapy Massage
- The Issues related to consent
- The Methods of Consultation
- Common Ailments and contraindications
- Client care and Hygiene procedures
- The Placement of Stones
- Sequences and physiology/psychological effects
- Referral Procedures and Homecare Advice
Pre requisites
This course is recommended for therapists who already hold a Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology and a recognised Body Massage/Treatment Diploma.
Opportunities for progression
Once candidates have achieved the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Stone Therapy Massage they may progress onto other ITEC or equivalent awards at level 3, for example:
Spa Treatments
Aromatherapy Massage
Reflexology
Indian Head Massage
Sports Massage
This award qualifies graduates to operate their own clinic or home visiting practice. Graduates can also gain employment in Salons, Health Club, Health Farms, Spas and Liners.
Tutor: A member of the in-house teaching team
ITEC require 100% attendance in order to obtain the Level 3 Diploma.
Students who do not attend all modules will need to organise tutorials with their tutor to enable them to access missed information. A fee is payable for this service.
Cost: £150.00 for both days.
Those students who choose to take the final ITEC course assessments and examinations will also be required to pay the associated registration and assessment fees. These are currently set at 103.15 pounds per examination. These fees are payable in full on or before day one of the course and, once paid, are strictly non refundable.

Students are required to provide their own uniform, as well as towells for this course (six hand towels and two bath sheets per massage). ITEC require students to show that they are equipped as independent therapists and, as such, are required to evidence that they own the appropriate therapy "kit". It will also be necessary to purchase a therapy couch for home case study purposes. This can be obtained via us or independently. Stones will be available for use during class.
